**The tank size chart is only a guideline. Factors such as ambient room temperature and the heat load from lighting, pumps, and other accessories need to be considered when sizing a chiller. When the tank size is close to the maximum range it is best to advance to the next size chiller. **TradeWind chillers use a BTU rating that maximizes the lifespan of the compressor while ensuring the highest overall efficiency. For this reason we offer the longest warranty in the industry. Some companies may claim higher BTU ratings, which may not always guarantee a shorter "run time", but will cause the compressor to draw more energy and significantly reduce the lifespan of the unit.
