All aquariums are NOT created equally. At MRC we take pride in our products and will not maufacture an aquarium that is not show quality. All MRC aquariums are fabricated with only the finest American cast acrylic materials. American cast acrylic is far superior in quality, strength and clarity than foreign material. Foreign acrylic often times has a slightly yellow hue and materials or defects imbedded in the material, not something you want in a quality aquarium. American cast acrylic is optically clear with no particles or defects.

MRC's extensive experience, knowledge and expertice is employed in each and every aquarium we build, ensuring the proper thickness of acrylic is used. Inexperienced or low-end tank manufacturers use thinner acrylic, which leads to bowing and crazing. Bowing is where the tank will break form and being to protrude. When the acrylic beings to bend in this manner, tiny "scratches" will appear; this is crazing. These areas are where the tank may eventually fail. With an MRC aquarium, you won't have to worry about this.

Bonding the acrylic panels is a work of art, requiring experience, knowledge and quality materials. MRC manufactures it's own solvents to bond the acrylic together. This results in a superior seam, both visually and structurally. A catestrophic failure or leak is not something you want to risk in your home or office; peace of mind is priceless.
