A protein skimmer is a device used to rid your tank of waste and other particles by mechanically mixing air and water. The bubbles created by this motion generate a surface where waste particles can attach themselves before being expelled.

All skimmer boxes are also made with 3/8" thick cast acrylic and engraved with the MRC logo everyone has come to recognize as a quality product.
