Fluidized Media Chambers

Modern aquarium practices regularly and properly sue numerous medias to achieve the perfect water qualities. However, the reactors have always been a product which manufacturers had glanced over. The times have changed with MRC Fluidized Media Reactors (FMCs). Our media reactors have a significant advantage over other reactors at gross appearance due to their size. Even our smallest FMC towers over the competition. This allows more media, multiple medias (using additional media pads), and greater flow through flow.

MRC FMCs use true reverse flow to ensure the media remains fluidized, making the MRC reactor the most efficient media reactors on the market. Water is pumped through the reactor, through a distribution plate to assure even upflow, and then evenly through the media. This means no channeling of media, no clumping, and maximum usage of media. Union fittings, at both inlet and outlet allow easy media change and maintenance.

As with all MRC products, only American made, top quality, 3/8” cast acrylic and 1/4" cast tube is used to make these reactors, making them ozone compatible.

The MRC FMC is perfect for use with activated carbon, phosphate control media, bio-pellets or many other substrate/media.
